Best keto buns ever

I tend to use this “best” thing a lot when I cook, but that’s just because I’ve tried so many recipes, I am entitled to do this. For instance, I would never call “best keto bread” any of the almond flour recipes, because, let’s face it, they are good, but they are a long way from being bread.

With these beauties, though, the things are a lot different. They resemble real bread so much, I am almost afraid to put extra-butter on top of them.

Ingredients:

100 grams wheat gluten
200 grams soy flour
10 grams dried yeast
50 grams mixed seeds
3 tbsp olive oil
250 ml warm water
1/4 tsp Himalaya pink salt

Things were quite simple: I mixed the dried ingredients then added the water and the olive oil, creating a thick dough. Depending on the flour used, you may need a couple of extra spoons. After kneading the dough, I left it in a warm place for about an hour. It won’t raise, but it will give the yeast time to activate itself. After this, I split the dough in balls, kneaded them again and formed them as buns. With a sharp knife, I made some cuts on the surface. I left them in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, until golden-brown.

Extra-butter, please! :)
