LCHF chocolate dessert

From time to time, the Facebook feed is flooded with video’s of DIY fancy sweets. Among them, some bowls made entirely of chocolate and filled with whatever you feel like. I felt like I needed a LCHF chocolate dessert, as well as I needed to make an impression on Valentine’s.

Ingredients:

  • 2 dark chocolate tablets (200 grams)
  • 5 inflatable balloons
  • 200 ml whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp Truvia
  • some forest fruits
  • 1 tbsp melted butter

I melted the chocolate over boiling water, then set the bowl aside, to cool a bit. In the mean time, I inflated the balloons then rubbed each with some melted butter. I dipped the bottom of each balloon into the melted chocolate, in order to form the future bowl. I placed each balloon onto a parchment paper, then in the fridge for about 30 minutes.

After the time passed, I took the balloons out of the fridge, then popped them. One at a time, since small incidents can occur and you have to take care of each bowl individually (by incidents I mean parts of the balloon still sticking to the chocolate).

I mixed the whipping cream until stiff peaks, then added the sweetener and mixed again. I placed each chocolate bowl on a plate, filled it with whipped cream and some forest fruits et voila! One of the best keto chocolate desserts I had in a while.
