LCHF schnitzel

I love schnitzels as much as everybody. What’s not to love on a piece of chicken with a crunchy crust? The flour, of course. But when you want to, you can transform your momma’s regular dishes into LCHF recipes.


  • 6 slices chicken breast
  • 50 grams grated parmesan
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1/2 tsp vital gluten or xanthan

Just looking on the ingredients, you can realize how simple this is: Apart from the chicken (obviously!), blend all the ingredients together. During this time, set a frying pan with oil/butter/your favorite grease and parboil it. Dip each chicken slice into the mixture you got and make sure it will cover the meat completely. Fry them on both sides until they become golden brown. If you have any doubts about the chicken being well done, dig a fork into the LCHF schnitzel. If it doesn’t go, leave them one more minute, under strict supervision. Enjoy and stay fit!
